      Why did I started JCagain?

A Social Networking Site with a Cause

Just Click  |  Just Care  | Just Share

Hello World, hello to my friends and warm hello to my colleagues at JCagain. I thought I would take the opportunity to take the time to explain why i started JCagain…. So lets begin….

About 3 to 4 years ago I went to a world leadership conference in Melbourne, whilst there I had the privilege to hear some great speakers talking about business and success, Most of the speaking worked around working more efficiently making strategic decisions, identifying markets. This was all good information, but it seemed to me that the only way to be successful in the Business world was to beat my competition until I was the biggest and the best, all at the expense of another business. I guess what I am talking about is business integrity and ethics. For myself I could never be part of a business world which is ruthless. So how could I possibly succeed?

Keep reading…..One of the speakers at The World leadership summit was a young man called Blake Mycoskie, who was in the original amazing race. Blake is a well documented entrepreneur  but I believe he had a defin

ing moment while in the race, when he encountered real poverty in South America, where the parents were unable to afford even shoes for their children, which in turn meant their children were unable to attend school, Or between three siblings they had to share one pair of shoes. So one child would go on Monday, the next Tuesday and so on. So in Blakes interview he said, “how could he help these people?” Even if he gave all his money to buy shoes, he would still be unable to provide for all the masses…. A traditional Charity has fundraisers, then they take out their operating costs plus the costs of having additional fundraising and then what is left over they would distribute among their causes. Blake said something very profound, “what if we had a For Profit Charity?” “So as the company grew, so did the help” A very thought provoking statement for me. Blake went on to start Toms Shoes which has been very successful, their motto is for every pair of shoes they sold they would give one pair away……

As the company grew, so would their ability to help people from less fortunate background.This stayed with me for a long time, just in my spirit, I was thinking it was such a good idea, but how could we expand that to a wider help, like clean drinking water, education, health, food, electricity….etc etc.Then I had a wave of inspiration, call it divine inspiration, “What if…..We had a For Profit Charity that was a Social networking Site?” So people who always wanted to help were now empowered to help! Just by using the site for their own personal networking profile. Then we could take half of the companies profits and donate them to worthy Charities who could go about their work…. The Charities would be empowered by the users of the Site.The Company name JCagain, pronounced as JC again stands for “Just Click Again” so everytime you  click you will be helping someone in need.So our motto is; Just Click, Just Care, Just Share” In this way I was able to keep my personal character and business ethics as well as help people in need, I hope you have enjoyed reading about my story. I hope after reading this you can see the potential of what we are doing and go and make your very own account at;
